A great start to the day!
The Breakfast Club is open every school day from 8.00 am until the start of the school, Nursery or Pre-School day. It is open to children aged 2 to 11 years and all children who arrive before 8.30 am will receive a substantial breakfast.
The club can be used regularly or occasionally, dependant on how you book your child’s place. It is run by the same experienced and qualified staff whom your child will meet in other parts of the Trust setting. They endeavour to create a friendly, welcoming environment for the children and their carers. We believe that every child is entitled to good quality care and that breakfast really is the most important meal of the day!
We try to provide a completely different atmosphere to school. We want the children to relax with their friends, and be ready to start their learning as soon as school opens. We try to make the club as homely as possible for them.
How does it work?
Children should be brought into the Breakfast Club via the front entrance of the school and signed in at any time after 8:00 am. They will be offered breakfast when they enter and can choose from a range of cereals, toast with toppings, porridge and juices. There is always a cooked breakfast option. The menu is rotated so that no two days in the week are the same. Menus can be viewed in the main foyer and on line and can be adapted for all special dietary needs. At 8.45 am, the children make their way to their Nursery room, Pre-School room, Reception classroom or to the school playground where they are supervised until the bell sounds and they join their class line.
“Breakfast club is more than just a healthy breakfast. Our friendly team are always on hand to ensure that everyone has a relaxed and happy start to the day.
We have lots of exciting resources for children to choose from – lego, colouring and board games. We also have comfy sofas where your child can catch up with their friends. At the end of the session children are escorted to class or the school play ground ready to partake in a busy day of learning.”

Keep us informed…
It is important for the children to feel safe and happy in their club because we want them to enjoy their time here. If they share any concerns with you, please do not hesitate to pass these onto the Trust Manager, Denise Arnold, to follow up.
To register your child for Breakfast Club, please obtain a registration form from the table in the main entrance or fill in the online form. Children may not attend the Club unless this has been completed in full and a place confirmed. As with all the Kids’ Clubs, three weeks’ notice is required to change a booking.
If you would like to see the Breakfast Club Room at work, please ring us to arrange a visit.
