Welcome to our website.

I hope you will find everything that you need to know about our setting here. We accommodate children between the ages of 2 and 11 on the Catholic School of St Gregory the Great school site.

Our aim is for each child to have their own unique experience at St. Gregorys Child Care Trust. Here, your child will be challenged and supported in trying new things. They will learn to take risks, have fun and build the confidence to fulfil their full potential. Our experienced staff will keep a careful eye on your child’s development; we will work together to meet their needs and achieve our aim of all children of varying abilities making excellent progress. I am extremely proud of our setting and will be very happy to show you around and answer any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting you and your child.

Leadership

Leaders within St Gregory’s Childcare Trust play a vital role in ensuring both the parents and the staff in each of their rooms have a point of contact for support or advice. The Room Leaders are responsible for ensuring the high standards of the Trust in their rooms, from the practitioners’ interactions with the children to the cleanliness of the environment. Each Room Leader has been appointed for their leadership and communication skills, their experience and qualifications, and their friendly nature.

Administration

The Trust office is open 8.30am – 4pm. Please contact Lisa on cct@st-gregorygreat.gloucs.sch.uk with any administration enquires for bookings, billing, funding etc.  If you have any correspondence for the Trustees, please pass it to Lisa in the office.

Our Team

Room Staff

Our practitioners are the backbone of the Trust. Together with the Room Leaders, they are the ones who get to know the children as individuals, encourage them, play with them and listen to them. Many of our staff work across the different areas of childcare within the Trust, helping transition between settings and getting to know our families really well. All our practitioners are qualified or working towards a childcare qualification. They have been chosen for their understanding of and connection with the children, their enthusiasm for creating and preparing exciting activities for these curious minds, and their ability to work and positively contribute to the team. We are very proud of our Staff Team.
