Pre-School
For children aged 3 or 4 years old.
Our Pre-School room is a bustling hub of activity, as the children embark on their journey towards achieving their Early Learning goals, which will be reached by the end of their Reception year. Our focus in the pre-school room, is to build upon essential areas of learning: Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language. Additionally, we incorporate four specific areas of study: Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding of the World, and expressive Arts and Design.
To further enrich their education, we also incorporate four specific areas of study in our curriculum. The first area is Literacy, where we introduce children to the exciting world of reading and writing. Through various interactive activities, we aim to nurture their love for books and storytelling. The second area is Mathematics, where children are introduced to the basic concepts of numbers, shapes and patterns. Through fun and engaging activities, we help them develop a solid foundation in mathematical skills. The third area is Understanding of the World, where we encourage children to explore and investigate their surroundings. We introduce them to different cultures, nature and scientific processes, allowing them to develop curiosity and a sense of wonder about the world around them. The fourth area is Expressive Art and Design, where we provide opportunities for children to explore their creativity and imagination through art, music, role-play and dance.
Every day in the Pre-School room, we follow a meticulously planned curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Our activities are carefully designed to provide structure for each day and ensure that your child is well-prepared for the transition into school life. We believe that a solid foundation in these early years is crucial for their future academic success. Therefore, we strive to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
