About Us

Our large playrooms and little round reading room provide a bright, happy and airy atmosphere within. Whilst outside, our fully enclosed landscape garden with different zones and play equipment provides a rich learning environment and a healthy balance for outdoor fun. Located close to St Gregory’s Church, in the grounds of St Gregory’s Primary School, we also benefit from being a 2-minute walk from Waitrose carpark, which we have the permission to use for picking up and dropping off children attending our setting.

Claire – Manager, Designated Safeguarding Lead

In 2009, I began my journey at St. Greg’s as a childcare assistant, while my eldest daughter attends a preschool. Over the years, I have advanced through various positions and am now proud to be the Manager of this remarkable establishment. St. Gregory’s holds as it has been an integral part of my daughter’s lives until they transitioned to secondary school. Every day, we strive to provide exceptional care for all the children entrusted to us, and I wholeheartedly believe that we offer the very best in terms of quality and a nurturing environment.

Helen – Deputy Manager and Room Leader and Deputy Safeguarding Lead

I joined the Trust in 2003. Time has flown by, and it does not feel like I have been here for 20 years! All three of my children attended our Nursery & Preschool and have extremely fond memories of their time here. I love my job, and it is amazing to see our children thrive, helping them learn to play musical instruments, learning songs with enthusiastic singing and their love of story time. It is a pleasure to be part of children’s early year's education.

Along with our amazing team of qualified staff, St Gregory’s Childcare Trust aims to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment where children are nurtured and encouraged to develop their full potential.  We are committed to achieving the best outcomes for all children attending our setting.  Our values form the foundation of our care and are the thread that runs throughout our setting for all children and staff:

“The early years are not simply about how we raise our children.  They are about the society we will become.”
