Our policy is to have a strong link with the primary school which your child will be attending to ensure that the transition from pre-school to school is a smooth one.  We have contact with each child’s school regarding transition, and we work together to ensure we support the skills and competencies required to make a positive transition into Reception.

Partnership with Parents

We pride ourselves on good communication with parents throughout our setting and our children will often be excited to tell you about their day, and we encourage this positive communication.  We greet our parents each day, and we are always available to talk. We also use the FAMLY APP to communicate with parents/carers and this can also be used by parents/carers to send messages or make booking requests.

Assessments and Record Keeping

All children are observed and assessed on a regular basis and written progress reports are given to parents. We hold parents' meetings each term. These are popular as they keep our parents informed and included in their child’s education.
